Janet Carlson

     As a child, I always enjoyed creating. With a teaching career and family, there wasn’t a lot of time to explore my artistic abilities. However in 2017, I took a metal smithing class in North Carolina and was smitten with both cold connections and soldering metal. Learning how to work with metal to make jewelry is both interesting and challenging to me. I appreciate the opportunity and support of the other artists here at Arati as I continue taking classes and improve my skill set.
