Many people find it surprising that an electrical engineer by day becomes a talented landscape artist by night.  Although I worked for Keysight (formerly Hewlett Packard) since 1973 and have since retired, it is my artwork that gives me a greater sense of gratification.

Growing up in Colorado Springs, among the grandeur of the mountains must have been the initial inspiration for my extreme joy of painting magnificent landscapes.  I try to emulate the early Romantic landscape painters, Albert Bierstadt and Thomas Moran. I love the idealistic scenes of nature that encompass billowy clouds, majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls and tranquil wildlife.  My forte is being able to make the light source extraordinarily striking through the use color, which draws the viewer into my paintings.
